March 4, 2013
Dear family and friends.
Another exciting trip planned. A journey to Israel (The Holy Land) & Jordan. March 5-17, 2013.
We will be travelling with a group of 25, hosted by Rev Dale & Rev Maryann Skinner from Mississauga.
We met with the whole group on the 17th of Feb. in the United Church in Mississauga. After a very informative evening, we were really stoked up. We have never traveled with a tour where everything is arranged for us.
Some of the places we will be travelling to are: Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood, and also performed his first miracle turning water into wine. I will make sure my water bottle is full...you never know. Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his Sermon on the Mount. A boat ride on the sea of Galilee, wailing wall in Jerusalem, Garden of Gethsemane, Dead Sea mud bath. Bethlehem, walk the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem and site of the crucifixion. There are so many highlights, it is hard to name them all.
Come and join us on the trip. Leave comments if you like. We always have the trip blogs printed. Makes a wonderful memorable souvenir. If leaving comments on this blog is not working, an email will do and I will post the comment on the blog
Love to all, with hugs to our grandchildren.
Hope to skype with you while we are gone.
Alida and Marcel
